But it’s also genuinely convenient for exploring – Rosebank is just a short drive away, and if you want to venture into the city center or check out Melville’s restaurant scene, you’re well positioned. The concierge (ask for Sarah if she’s still there) gave me some excellent recommendations for local spots that weren’t just the usual tourist traps. Parking is secure and included, which saves you the headache and expense of street parking in Sandton. The breakfast is nothing groundbreaking but it’s fresh and reliable, and they make a proper coffee – important details when you’re dealing with jet lag or early morning meetings. With a 9.1 rating, it’s clear other travelers have figured out what I discovered: sometimes the best choice isn’t the biggest or flashiest option, but the one that simply gets everything right without any fuss.

  As highly viewed in previous questions, it was extremely clean, welcoming, very good standard of furniture and furnishings, bathroom and kitchenette. Staff were excellent and the owner was exceptional in her customer care.
