The apartment itself feels genuinely luxurious without being stuffy – think modern finishes, a kitchen that’s actually functional if you want to skip room service, and beds that don’t make you miss home. The four-star rating feels about right, maybe even a touch conservative.

What really got me though was how quiet it stays despite being right in the thick of things. Pritchard Street isn’t exactly a sleepy residential road, but somehow the noise doesn’t really penetrate once you’re inside. The building’s got decent security too, which honestly matters more here than in some other cities – you’ll appreciate not having to worry about that stuff. Parking was straightforward enough, though I’d definitely recommend asking about it when you book rather than just showing up and hoping for the best. The whole check-in process was pretty smooth, and the staff actually knew the neighborhood well enough to give decent restaurant recommendations (not just the obvious tourist traps). You’re walking distance from some surprisingly good coffee shops and galleries if you’re into that scene, and the constitutional court is just a short stroll if you want to mix in some history with your stay. I’d definitely stay here again – it’s got that rare combination of being genuinely comfortable while still feeling like you’re experiencing the real Johannesburg rather than some sanitized hotel version of it.

  We really loved the view especially before sunset and after sunset , i mean that front building makes it looks amazing.
  
  What could be improved: I didn’t like the couch it’s a bit old and the elevators were not working at all and the host didn’t bother to email or call to let us know that we are going to use stairs not elevators so we had to use the stairs from 7th floor to 15th floor then when you go down you have to walk until 5th floor to use elevator
