The location in Randburg is actually pretty clever – you’re close enough to get into the heart of Joburg without dealing with the intensity of staying right in the CBD. I found myself walking to a few local spots that had that authentic neighborhood vibe, the kind of places you stumble across rather than find in guidebooks. Parking was straightforward too, which anyone who’s driven around Johannesburg will tell you is not something to take for granted. The staff seemed to genuinely know the area well, giving me directions to places using landmarks instead of just GPS coordinates, which I appreciated. Now, it’s not perfect – the elevator can be a bit temperamental (though honestly, what elevator in South Africa isn’t?), and if you’re the type who needs turndown service and someone asking about your day every time you walk through the lobby, this might feel a bit too independent for your taste. But for me, that’s exactly what made it work. It felt like having a proper base in the city rather than just a place to crash between sightseeing. The 7.7 rating makes sense to me – it’s solidly good without trying to be something it’s not, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need when you’re exploring a city like Johannesburg.

  The area felt secure, and the apartment was tidy and well-kept. Parking was okay, and the Wi-Fi was great.

The toiletry supplies were inadequate, only one tissue was provided for the entire five-day stay .I wouldn’t recommend staying at this place for longer period especially if you’re planning to cook .The room was uncomfortably hot, and the fan provided by the host was too tiny to make a difference. Overall, the stay had several inconveniences.
