The location is actually pretty smart if you know the area. Leipoldt Street puts you in this sort of residential pocket that feels removed from the city chaos, but you’re still close enough to get to Sandton or Rosebank without too much drama. The house itself has this lived-in vibe – the kind of place where the kitchen actually has proper pans and the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every hour. Three bedrooms work well for families or groups, though honestly, the master bedroom gets the best of everything while the other two are more basic. What I really appreciated was the parking situation – you get a proper garage plus additional spaces, which anyone who’s spent time in Jo’burg will tell you is worth its weight in gold.

It’s a solid three-star setup that doesn’t try to be something it’s not. The furnishing is comfortable rather than fancy, and there are these little touches that show someone actually thought about what guests need – good shower pressure, blackout curtains that properly block the morning sun, and outlets near the beds for charging phones. The neighborhood gets quiet at night, which is nice, though you’ll still hear the occasional car alarm or security company patrol (just part of the Jo’burg soundtrack, really). I’d say it works best for people who want space to spread out and don’t need hotel-style service – you’re basically living like a local for a few days, complete with having to figure out the quirky hot water system and making sure you’ve got groceries sorted. The pool area becomes the real gathering spot in the evenings, and if you time it right during the warmer months, it’s actually pretty perfect for a sundowner.

  The property is located in a very convenient place with shopping centres around.
  
  What could be improved: One of the room was recently painted and I’m very sensitive to the smell of paint. But it wasn’t much of a big deal as the rest of the group didn’t even notice that, I’m just overly sensitive to the smell. So no big deal😉
