I mean, the furniture isn’t going to win any design awards, but honestly? Everything works, the beds are surprisingly comfortable, and you’ll get a decent night’s sleep without breaking the bank. The staff genuinely seems to care about getting things right – not in that overly scripted way, but more like they actually want you to have a good stay. During check-in, the woman at the front desk took time to sketch out the best routes to avoid traffic (because let’s face it, Jo’burg traffic is no joke) and pointed out a little neighborhood spot for proper boerewors that I never would have found otherwise.

What really works about this place is its position – you’re close enough to the main business districts that you won’t spend half your day in traffic, but far enough out that you can actually park without drama and sleep without sirens every twenty minutes. The breakfast situation is pretty solid too, nothing fancy but they do a proper South African spread with decent coffee, and you can sit outside in the morning when the weather’s good. I stayed here during a work trip and ended up extending for an extra night just because it felt more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel. Look, if you’re expecting luxury or Instagram-worthy amenities, this isn’t your spot – but if you want somewhere honest, comfortable, and well-run without the pretense, Arcon Accommodation delivers exactly what it promises.

  Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, die Küche bietet alles was man zum einfachen Kochen braucht.
  
  Auf Nachfrage wurden uns ohne Probleme weitere Handtücher und Decken gebracht.
  
  What could be improved: Bei Booking steht das die Wohnung 2Schlafzimmer bzw 2 Betten hat. Als wir ankamen wurde uns erklärt das dies falsch sei. Somit waren wir zu dritt und hatten nur ein Doppelbett und die Couch.
  
  Leider ist im Badezimmer kein Spiegel sondern nur im Aufenthaltsraum.
  
  Der Badvorleger vor der Dusche macht leider wenig Sinn, da dieser aus Silikon ist und kein Wasser aufhält. Somit ist der komplette Boden im Bad meistens nass wenn man aus der Dusche geht.

  Location was great, its 5 minutes from the Eastgate mall.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing hectic, i was pleased with almost everything, I am sure next time we will have a gate remote so that we don't bother the owner to open for us in the midnight. we came very late in one of the days but he opened the gate without a hustle.
