I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Beautiful 2 bed, 2 baths apartment on Middle Road, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the name alone. But this four-star place in Sandton really surprised me in the best way possible. You know how some apartment-style accommodations feel like someone just threw together leftover furniture? This isn’t one of those places.

The location is actually pretty brilliant if you know Johannesburg at all. Middle Road puts you right in the heart of Sandton’s business district, which I mean, sounds boring until you realize you’re walking distance from Nelson Mandela Square and Sandton City – honestly, some of the best shopping and dining in the city. The apartment itself feels more like staying at a well-designed friend’s place than a typical hotel room. Both bathrooms are properly spacious (thank god, because you know how cramped hotel bathrooms can get), and the bedrooms actually have decent closet space. I was there during a pretty busy conference season, and while the area gets hectic during business hours, the evenings were surprisingly quiet.

What really sold me on this place was the little details that show someone actually thinks about what travelers need. The kitchen isn’t just for show – it’s got proper cookware, which was perfect since I wanted to grab groceries from Woolworths down the street instead of eating out every night. The Wi-Fi is solid throughout (I tested it, obviously), and there’s actually decent parking, which if you’ve driven in Johannesburg, you know is not something to take for granted. The 9.2 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top luxury, but everything just works really well. The check-in process was smooth, the space feels safe and secure, and honestly, having two full bathrooms when you’re traveling with someone else is just… chef’s kiss. I’d definitely stay here again, especially since it’s way more affordable than the big chain hotels in the area but doesn’t feel like you’re compromising on comfort or location.

  The apartment is very beautiful inside, both bedrooms got 🛁 and 🚿.. few minutes to go to sandton Mall n mandela Square. I slept like a baby because the beds were too comfortable.😊

  There was no water threw out our stay we been told there is maintainence thats going to happen after we checkd in it was to late for us to look for another place to move to it costd me to go buy urn buckets and water to bath i askd the people around there about this water stopd they told me the notice was given almost 2 weeks ago.im was very sad for my stay and the noise from other apartments with children screaming so early in the morning was a total crap
