You’ll notice the attention to detail in things like the lighting and the way they’ve maximized the natural light coming through the windows.

Honestly, the location works better than you might think at first glance. Sure, it’s not the prettiest neighborhood in Joburg, but you’re walking distance to some incredible local spots that most tourists never discover. There’s this amazing coffee place just a few blocks away that locals queue up for every morning, and if you’re into exploring the city’s art scene, you’re perfectly positioned to wander through some of the creative districts that are popping up around here. The building itself is secure – which, let’s be real, matters a lot when you’re staying in central Johannesburg – and the check-in process was surprisingly smooth. I was a bit worried about parking initially, but they’ve got that sorted too. The only thing I’d mention is that street noise can be noticeable in the evenings, especially on weekends, but honestly it just adds to that urban authenticity.   What could be improved: There was NO WATER & NO ELECTRICITY, we phoned Rodney and he advised there’s nothing he can do to help us. We had to look for a new accommodation ASAP😭we found a new accommodation at 22:00, we woke up in the next morning we requested the full refund from booking.com they approved it we are patiently waiting for a refund since they said it is gonna take 7-12 days

  We absolutely loved everything about our stay! The place was exactly as expected—cozy, warm, and welcoming. We especially appreciated the blackout curtains, which were perfect for dimming the bright sunlight in the mornings. The location was incredibly convenient, making it easy to access food and other essentials. Our host was amazing—very attentive, kind, and accommodating, ensuring we were well taken care of throughout our stay. Their willingness to assist with additional requests made our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
  
  What could be improved: There wasn’t much to dislike, but a few small improvements could enhance the experience. It would be great if fumigation was done during gaps between guest stays, as we noticed quite a few insects. The bathroom could also benefit from an extra shower curtain or another solution to prevent water from spilling onto the floor while showering. We ran low on toilet paper towards the end of our stay, and since we were checking out, it felt a bit inconvenient to ask for more. Lastly, with winter approaching, a small heater in the lounge area would be a nice touch, even though a blanket was provided.
