You’re literally a five-minute walk from Sandton City Mall (perfect for those inevitable shopping emergencies), and the Gautrain station is close enough that you can actually hear the trains if you listen carefully, but not so close that it becomes annoying. I stayed here during a business trip last year, and I could easily walk to most of my meetings in the financial district. The studio itself is compact but smartly designed – they’ve maximized every square meter without making it feel cramped. The kitchen area has everything you actually need (not just the bare minimum most places give you), and the bathroom has one of those rainfall showers that makes you not want to leave.

What I really appreciated were the small touches that show someone who knows travelers designed this place. There’s proper blackout curtains – crucial if you’re dealing with jet lag – and the Wi-Fi actually works consistently, which sadly isn’t a given everywhere in Johannesburg. The building’s security is solid too, which matters when you’re staying in the city center. I found the area pretty quiet at night, though you’ll get some traffic noise during rush hour since you’re on a main road. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak times, but the building has secure parking that’s worth the extra cost for peace of mind. The 9.3 rating this place has earned makes total sense to me – it’s one of those spots where the photos don’t oversell it, and the reality actually matches the expectations. If you’re looking for something modern and well-positioned in Sandton without the massive price tag of the big hotel chains, this studio hits that sweet spot perfectly.

  Big apartment in a very safe area of Johannesburg. Nice shower and bathroom and comfortable bed. Great balcony to relay. Also common area with pool table and tv if needed.

  Everything about the apartment was spot on, great location, amazing views and very peaceful.
  The apartment is equipped with everything one needs. Sandton City Mall is just a few minutes walk away from the apartment. Our host was so kind and helpful, always available when needed and was nice enough to allow us to have a late check out since we were traveling from PTA. A lovely place indeed ☺️🥰🤗
