I’ve stayed in supposedly fancier places where the shower pressure was terrible or the Wi-Fi kept cutting out, but here? Everything just functions. The beds are actually comfortable too – not those rock-hard mattresses you sometimes get in business hotels.

What I really appreciated was how they handle the practical stuff. Parking‘s sorted without drama, which anyone who’s driven around Sandton will tell you is worth its weight in gold. The breakfast setup isn’t trying to be some grand buffet experience, but it covers what you need without the chaos of those massive hotel dining rooms. And here’s something locals probably already know – you’re literally walking distance from all the Morningside shopping and restaurants, but also close enough to the main Sandton action when you need it. I found myself using it as a base to explore different parts of the area without feeling stuck in one spot. The staff seemed to get that mix of business and leisure travelers too – they’re helpful without being overly chatty when you’re clearly rushing to a meeting, but friendly enough when you want recommendations for dinner. Honestly, for the price point and that 8.4 rating, it makes sense. It’s one of those places that delivers exactly what it promises, which sounds boring but is actually pretty rare these days.
