The living area flows really naturally, and they’ve got this great balance of sleek furniture that’s actually comfortable to sink into after a long day exploring the city. The bedroom setup is smart too – blackout curtains that actually work, which is clutch if you’re dealing with jet lag or just want to sleep in.

Location-wise, you’re in this sweet spot where you feel removed from the chaos but you’re not stuck in the middle of nowhere. Ethel Avenue is pretty quiet, especially at night, but you’re close enough to hop over to Sandton or head into the city center without it being a whole production. Parking was straightforward, which honestly can make or break a stay when you’re navigating Johannesburg with a rental car. The building itself feels secure – you know that slightly buzzy feeling you get in some places where you’re not quite sure about safety? Yeah, that’s not an issue here. I actually found myself relaxing in a way I don’t always manage in unfamiliar cities. The check-in was smooth, no weird key card drama or confusing building layouts to figure out. It’s the kind of place where you settle in quickly and start planning what you want to cook for dinner instead of where you need to eat out again.

  We loved the location, it was safe and central to where we needed to be.
  The apartment was spacious and tastefully decorated. There were enough blankets, even electric blanket to keep us warm for the cold Jozi nights. The little extras made the stay special, like phone Chargers by the bed, a turn down service every day. The apartment had everything we needed.

  The place looks like just in the photos. The host is a lovely gentleman.made sure to give us a warm welcome. The stuff was welcoming and the energy was amazing. Definitely coming back soon. I enjoyed it. The peace is amazing.
