The rooms are spacious – I mean genuinely roomy, not that cramped “cozy” nonsense you sometimes get – and they’ve clearly thought about what business travelers actually need. Decent desk space, reliable wifi that doesn’t cut out during video calls, and blackout curtains that actually work (trust me on this one, the Johannesburg morning sun is no joke). The beds are solid too, none of that rock-hard mattress situation that leaves you feeling like you’ve been wrestling all night. I appreciated the little touches like having enough power outlets near the bed and a proper shower with water pressure that doesn’t make you question your life choices.

The location is honestly one of the smartest things about staying here. You’re right in the heart of Rosebank, which means you can walk to the Gautrain station in about five minutes – huge win if you’re trying to get to Sandton or OR Tambo without dealing with traffic. The Zone shopping center is practically next door, and there are some genuinely good restaurants within walking distance that aren’t just the usual chain spots. I found myself grabbing coffee at this little place around the corner most mornings instead of relying on hotel breakfast. Speaking of which, their breakfast is decent but nothing revolutionary – fresh enough, good coffee, covers the basics. The staff genuinely seemed to know the neighborhood well too, which is rarer than you’d think. When I asked about getting to Constitution Hill on a Saturday morning, the front desk guy gave me this detailed rundown about avoiding certain routes and timing it right. That kind of local insight makes a real difference when you’re trying to make the most of a short stay. The whole experience felt like staying somewhere that actually understands Joburg, rather than just existing in it.

  We had a lovely stay! The location is unbeatable—right on the doorstep of The Zone and Rosebank Mall, which made everything incredibly convenient. The staff were very friendly, and both check-in and check-out were quick and seamless. We also appreciated the secure underground parking and the overall sense of safety throughout the property. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, making for a restful stay. Despite a few areas that could use attention, we truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely consider booking again.
  
  What could be improved: We recently stayed in Unit 607 and noticed a lack of upkeep in what is otherwise a promising space. A few things stood out during our short visit:
  
  – The balcony corner railing seemed damaged, which could be a serious safety hazard—especially for families like us with young children. Thankfully, we noticed it early and kept the sliding door closed throughout our stay.
  – The kitchen bin lid was broken, and the grey blanket in the second bedroom had burn marks. While both were technically usable, they gave a poor impression. Replacing worn or damaged items would go a long way in improving the overall feel of the unit.
  – The shower drain was slow, likely needing a drain cleaner.
  – One wall plug switch was sunken in, and the Alva heater didn’t work—it might be best to remove it altogether if it’s no longer functional.
  – We were also surprised that a unit in such an upmarket building lacks air conditioning unit. better to have this and remove the loose fans and heaters
  – Most notably, the cleanliness was below standard. It was clear the unit and coffee mugs hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned.
  
  These are all relatively easy fixes, but they add up and affect the guest experience. With a bit more attention to detail and maintenance, this unit could really live up to its potential. Recommend that inventory list is made and that both guest and staff member check and confirm if all is in order before handing over keys, this ensures accountability from both parties.

  Had a wonderful stay. The property was in a lovely location on the corner of a busy street with lotsa restaurants. Clean and Neat. Would definitely stay there again if I am in town again.

  The location is excellent, just across the street from the Rosebank restaurants and mall. A 3-4 minute walk to the hop on hop off bus. The flat had two bedrooms and two bathrooms which makes everything easier for 4 people sharing. We didn't use the cooking facilities as there are so many nice places to eat in the area. We arrived at 9 pm, after the check in time, but a code was sent via whatsapp to retrieve the key once we got to the building's reception.

  The apart is neat and clean. It is central and walking distance to the malls. But most of all, the hosts were great. They attended to our every request and were always available to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

  What could be improved: The apartment needs mats in the living room and by the kitchen, the floors are too bare and it gets cold at night.
  
  The microwave is too small, even the plates provided can’t fit in it.
  
  An extra long mirror would be perfect as well . Just an overall upgrade of the apartment will be much appreciated.
