You know what caught me off guard about Enitre House! Long Stay! Relocating! Business!? It’s actually way more comfortable than I expected for what’s essentially extended-stay accommodation in Johannesburg. I mean, when you first see it on Rabie Street in Randburg, it doesn’t scream luxury or anything – but honestly, that’s kind of the point.

The whole setup is perfect if you’re one of those people who needs to be in Joburg for weeks or months, whether you’re relocating for work or just need a proper base while you figure things out. The four-star rating makes sense once you’re inside – it’s got all the essentials without trying too hard to impress. The kitchen facilities are actually decent (I made pasta there more times than I care to admit), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays, even though you’re right in the middle of everything. Randburg can get pretty hectic during the day, but the way the building is positioned, you don’t get hammered with street noise at night.

Location-wise, you’re in this sweet spot where you can easily get to Sandton for business meetings – it’s literally a fifteen-minute drive when traffic cooperates, which honestly isn’t that often, but still. And if you need groceries or just want to grab dinner without cooking, there are plenty of options within walking distance. I found myself at the nearby shopping centers more than once, just because it felt normal, you know? Not touristy or forced. The parking situation is straightforward too, which anyone who’s dealt with Joburg will tell you is not something to take for granted. The 8.5 rating from other guests makes total sense – it’s not going to blow your mind, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any nasty surprises. If you’re doing the whole extended stay thing in South Africa, whether for business or life transitions, this place actually gets it right.

  I loved how spacious the place was
  It looked and felt clean. It was cozy and beautiful. My family and I had a wonderful stay.
  
  What could be improved: The other two rooms were rather cold cause the heaters weren't warm at all.
  The WiFi was horrible. There was no signal whatsoever, to connect our gadgets or the tv cause of the poor network connection.
