What really impressed me was how functional everything felt – and I say this as someone who’s stayed in way too many “self-catering” places where the kitchen is basically decorative. Here, you’ve got proper counter space, a full-sized fridge (not one of those mini bar things), and actual cooking equipment that looks like it gets used. The Netflix setup works seamlessly with the decent-sized TV, which honestly saved a few evenings when I was too tired to explore. The internet is solid too, which isn’t always a given in SA. I actually found the neighborhood quite walkable during daylight hours, with a few local spots for groceries and coffee within reasonable distance, though you’ll definitely want a car or Uber for getting around the city properly.   What could be improved: Nice place overall! Just a bit noisy at night because the Dogs in the compound barks a lot. The Wi-Fi also went off a couple of times, but aside from that, I really enjoyed it and would love to visit again.
