I mean, Johannesburg has no shortage of business hotels, but this one feels different. The rooms are genuinely comfortable – not just Instagram-pretty but actually livable, you know? The beds are solid (I’m picky about mattresses), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without playing Tetris with your luggage. What really impressed me was the attention to lighting; so many hotels get this wrong, but here you can actually read without squinting or looking like you’re in an interrogation room. The bathroom setup is smart too – good water pressure, which honestly can make or break a stay for me.

The staff seemed to genuinely care about getting things right, not just going through the motions. Check-in was smooth, and when I had a question about getting around the area, the front desk guy actually knew what he was talking about instead of just handing me a generic map. Randburg can be tricky to navigate if you’re not familiar with it, but they had solid recommendations for both business meetings and decent dinner spots nearby. The whole vibe strikes this nice balance – professional enough for work trips but relaxed enough that you don’t feel like you’re staying in a corporate machine. With that 8.4 rating, I can see why people keep coming back. It’s the kind of place where everything just… works, without any drama or unpleasant surprises.

  What could be improved: There was no lights in the bathroom. The owner could not even reply to our plea of checking out at 11 after we asked her cause we had come from a long run. The next thing at 10:10 the ladies where already knocking the door telling us they want to clean 😕
