What I really appreciated though was how quiet it gets in the evenings – despite being in the thick of Johannesburg’s financial hub, the apartment faces away from the main traffic arteries, so you’re not dealing with constant street noise. The city views they mention? Well, they’re legit, especially if you time it right for sunset when the light hits all those glass towers just perfectly.

The apartment itself feels more like staying at a well-appointed friend’s place than a typical hotel room. There’s actual counter space in the kitchen – not just some sad mini-fridge situation – which was clutch for me since I tend to grab groceries and eat breakfast in rather than hunt for cafes every morning. The living area has this comfortable, lived-in quality that somehow manages to feel upscale without being stuffy. I spent quite a bit of time on the couch with my laptop, and honestly, the WiFi held up better than some of the fancy chain hotels I’ve stayed at in the area. One small thing that impressed me was the attention to details like proper blackout curtains and a coffee machine that actually makes decent coffee – you’d be surprised how often places skimp on stuff like that. The building itself has good security (you’ll need a keycard for the elevator), and parking was straightforward, though I’d recommend asking about spaces when you book since Sandton parking can be a bit of a scramble during peak business hours. With an 8.4 rating, this place has clearly figured out what travelers actually need versus what looks good in photos, and that shows in all the little conveniences that make a longer stay actually enjoyable.

  I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I had the pleasure of staying in this same apartment two months ago. I appreciate the furniture and room decor, and the view is absolutely stunning. The host is attentive and respectful, always ready to assist. I will definitely choose this place for all my future visits to Johannesburg.
