The living area flows really nicely into the kitchen, and honestly, having two proper bedrooms makes such a difference if you’re traveling with family or splitting costs with friends.

The location is pretty solid if you know Sandton at all. You’re walking distance from Sandton City – which, let’s be real, is where you’ll end up doing most of your shopping anyway. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, despite being so central. The building itself has decent security (you’ll need to buzz in), and parking was straightforward, which anyone who’s driven around Johannesburg will tell you is not a given. The apartment comes with all the basics you’d want – proper Wi-Fi that actually works, a kitchen where you can cook real meals instead of surviving on takeout, and the air conditioning kept up just fine during my stay in February when it was properly hot outside.

I’ll be honest, the furnishing isn’t going to win any design awards, but everything’s clean and functional. The beds are comfortable enough, and there’s plenty of storage space for longer stays. The bathroom’s nothing fancy, but the water pressure’s decent and it stays hot. What really sold me on this place was the little touches – there’s a washing machine (seriously underrated when you’re traveling), and the kitchen actually has proper pots and pans, not just the sad collection of mismatched items you usually get. The balcony’s small but gives you a nice view of the neighborhood, and it’s perfect for morning coffee. My only real complaint would be that the walls are a bit thin, so you might hear your neighbors if they’re being loud, but that’s pretty standard for apartment-style accommodations. For what you’re paying and the space you’re getting, it’s honestly good value, especially if you’re planning to spend a few days exploring the area rather than just crashing overnight.

  The place was clean and the housekeeper even delivered toilet paper and water. The location is perfect and there was not a lot of noise. Very relaxing and convenient.
  
  What could be improved: There was no dish cloth in the kitchen and the aircon in the living room did not have an appropriate adapter for you yo plug it in.

  There was a delay as the concierge, although i had a booking ref number and pin from Booking.com, he had to phone the host to verify, they did not answer the phone and we had to wait for them to call back. That is not an acceptable process at all. We also only had one access key and card. We had 3 adults staying and had to co ordinate every body movements as we only had one access card to the building
  
  What could be improved: The apartment did not have bath mats, no toilet brushes and the toilet paper rolls had very little left on them in each bathroom. There were no spare toilet rolls.
  The kitchen was also very sparse, no wash up cloth or sponge, only 1 wine glass, no extra towels, the second bedroom has 2 mis matched very thin worn towels. The light above the basin in the second bathroom was not working, the main bathroom the mirror was broken and hanging off the wall. Really not a standard that I would expect from Booking.com

  The property looked just like the pictures. Host was attentive, great location if you want to be near the hustle and bustle. Loved our stay!
