The view from the main room looks out over the Sandton skyline, which is particularly nice in the evening when all the office buildings light up.

Location-wise, you’re about a five-minute walk to Sandton City if you need serious shopping, and the Gautrain station is close enough that getting to OR Tambo doesn’t require a whole production. I found myself walking to meetings around the financial district pretty easily, though honestly, the sidewalks can be a bit hit-or-miss depending on which direction you’re heading. The neighborhood has that interesting Johannesburg mix where you’ve got high-end office towers next to local spots that have been there forever.   The apartment was specious and very nice.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment has no air conditioning. So the apartment was extremely hot and I was sweating at night making it difficult to sleep well.

  What could be improved: The building is VERY busy, on arrival we waited almost 30 minutes just to get an empty enough lift to go up to the apartment. It is also very noisy, could not get a good nights rest, people screaming etc.. The Wifi is very slow, there is no DSTV, only YouTube works on the TV. There is no air-conditioning, it gets terribly HOT in the summer.
