What I loved most was how safe it felt walking around, even in the evenings, which isn’t something you can say about every part of Johannesburg.

Inside the Villa

The room I stayed in was spacious and thoughtfully designed, with this perfect blend of contemporary South African style and classic comfort. The beds are seriously comfortable — I’m talking about the kind where you actually don’t want to get up in the morning. Each space has its own character too, which makes sense given the villa setup. You’re not getting cookie-cutter hotel rooms here, and that personal touch really shows in the details like local artwork and carefully chosen furnishings.

Service and Amenities

The staff here operates more like a boutique guesthouse than a traditional hotel, which I actually preferred. They know your name, remember your preferences, and seem genuinely interested in making sure you’re comfortable. There’s secure parking on-site (which is huge in Johannesburg), and the common areas are perfect for relaxing with a drink after a day of exploring. The villa also has this lovely outdoor space where you can actually hear birds chirping — not something I expected in the middle of one of Africa’s largest cities.

  The house is beautiful and absolutely clean and spacious. Was big enough for our group and Dennis made sure to check in on us and had someone to just clean the entire stay. The place is in a very safe area. The pool and chilling area are great. So you definitely get value for money!
