Each unit has a full kitchen, which honestly saved me a fortune during my week-long stay since eating out in Sandton every meal would’ve cost more than the room itself. The furnishing is pretty standard stuff, nothing fancy, but everything works and it’s clean. What I really appreciated was the little balcony in my unit – perfect for that morning coffee while watching the city wake up.

Here’s the thing about staying here that nobody really tells you: the location is actually brilliant for getting around Johannesburg. You’re close enough to walk to the Gautrain station (about 10 minutes if you don’t mind the slight uphill), which means easy airport connections and quick trips into the city center. Plus, there’s decent parking if you’re renting a car, and in this part of town, secure parking isn’t something you take for granted. The staff are pretty laid-back and helpful – they actually know the neighborhood and can point you toward the good local spots instead of just the tourist traps. I had one guy at reception who gave me directions to this amazing Portuguese place just a few streets over that I never would’ve found otherwise. Sure, it’s not going to win any luxury awards, and the Wi-Fi can be a bit temperamental during peak hours, but for what you pay, it delivers exactly what you need. It’s one of those places that just works – no drama, no surprises, just a solid base for exploring Johannesburg without the premium price tag you’d pay at those big corporate hotels down the street.

  My stay at the Menlyn Apartment in Pretoria was truly excellent. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the welcoming and accommodating staff. They were professional, efficient, and genuinely seemed to care about making my stay as comfortable as possible. The apartment itself was clean and spacious.

  Overall with property, it was clean all the electric appliances worked.The place is just peaceful. It's easy access to the mall and restaurants. I I'm happy and would definitely be booking again hoping I will get the same unit. Please give compliments to the security lady who was on duty she was very patient and helpful.
