I mean, you can walk to Nelson Mandela Square in about ten minutes, which is handy for dinner or just people-watching. The Gautrain station is close enough that you don’t need to stress about airport transfers, and honestly, that’s a game-changer if you’re not renting a car. Parking at the hotel itself is secure and underground, which anyone familiar with Sandton will appreciate – you don’t want to be circling the block looking for street parking around here.
What really got me was the attention to detail in the rooms. These aren’t your standard hotel boxes – they’re actually set up more like proper condos with full kitchens and separate living areas. The sunset views (when you get them) are genuinely spectacular, stretching out over the Johannesburg skyline. I stayed during winter, and those golden hour moments were absolutely worth it. The Wi-Fi is solid, which matters if you’re trying to get work done, and the beds are comfortable without being so soft you sink into oblivion. One small thing that impressed me – the shower pressure is excellent, something you can’t always count on even in upscale places. The staff at check-in were efficient and friendly, though not overly chatty, which I actually preferred after a long flight. You know what surprised me most? How quiet it stays at night despite being in such a busy area. I’m a light sleeper, and I had no issues with street noise or neighboring rooms. The 9.2 rating this place has earned makes total sense once you’ve stayed there – it’s not trying to be the flashiest hotel in Sandton, but it nails the fundamentals while adding those little luxury touches that make a difference. If you’re looking for something that feels more like a temporary apartment than a hotel room, and you want to be walking distance from Sandton’s main attractions without the chaos, this is definitely worth considering.

Very spacious and clean. Had all amenities one needs including Showmax and Netflix. There was water despite there being none across Joburg at the time we stayed there.
What could be improved: It was very noisy throughout (day & night) with a lot of traffic especially that it’s located next to the lift. The apartment has high quality appliances for all the needs, it’s quite peaceful as it’s on the 11th floor, with great views of the city. There is high speed internet, and both bedrooms are quite spacious and super comfortable. There is also a great restaurant downstairs that does room service. Overall a great place, I’d come back.
What could be improved: The property does not have air conditioning, which however was not the problem as the weather was cool and rainy. It was a really good stay. It ticked all the boxes we needed, which were location, price, and cleanliness. I am a big bathroom person, and the bathrooms in this apartment are great! All in all, it was an enjoyable stay—definitely recommended.
