The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives there – I mean that in the best way. None of that sterile hotel vibe where everything’s bolted down and covered in plastic. The bedroom’s got this great natural light that streams in during the morning (honestly, better than most hotels I’ve stayed at), and the living area doesn’t feel cramped like so many one-bedroom setups do. What really got me was the kitchen – it’s actually functional, not just there for show. I ended up cooking breakfast a couple times because, well, why not? The whole place has this clean, contemporary feel without being too minimalist or cold. You’ve got proper storage space, decent WiFi that actually works for video calls, and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine taking off.

Location-wise, you’re pretty well positioned here. Cradock Avenue isn’t one of those touristy strips, so you get a real sense of how people actually live in this part of the city. There’s a decent shopping center about ten minutes away if you need groceries or basics, and getting to Sandton or the airport isn’t a nightmare – though I’d still budget extra time during rush hour because, let’s face it, traffic here can be unpredictable. Parking was straightforward, which honestly relieved me more than it should have. The neighborhood feels safe during the day, and I walked around without any issues, though like anywhere in Joburg, I kept my wits about me after dark. The building itself has good security, which matters when you’re traveling alone or just want peace of mind. I actually slept really well here – the street’s quiet enough that you’re not dealing with constant traffic noise, but you still feel connected to the city. For the price point and the 8.6 rating it’s got, this place delivers on what it promises without trying to be something it’s not.

  What could be improved: The place wasn’t completely clean, there were long threads of some hair in the shower and bathroom carpets, there were old dry toothpaste stains on one of the towels in the bathroom (not a good look) but other than that overall the cleanliness was 7/10 apart from the above complaints that lowered the rating

  The apartment was stunning with everything you need for a cozy stay. The host is above and beyond, always available and is so helpful. My stay was wonderful and I would definitely book another stay.

  It was a wonderful room, modern and came with everything you need to cook and clean and enjoy your stay
  
  What could be improved: The host advertises a working gym and a pool- these have not been built yet, and furthermore the restaurant wasn't open, and no Spa on-site. So no amenities in the building were operational, and this was a reason why we chose to stay here. So yes, very disappointing to be let down.

  Great location at a good price. Close to Rosebank Mall and Sandton and did not have any struggles with traffic. The bed was also super comfortable.

  Place is in a great location and it is good value for money. Host was great and went out of their way to ensure my stay was superb. I'd definitely stay there again if I'm visiting Johannesburg.
