The rooms feel more like upscale apartments than typical hotel spaces – there’s this lived-in luxury that doesn’t feel stuffy or over-designed. The kitchenette setup is genuinely useful too, not just decorative like you often find. I actually used it for morning coffee and late-night snacks, and everything worked properly. The beds are fantastic – I’m talking about that perfect firmness that doesn’t leave you waking up sore, and the linens feel expensive without being fussy.

Here’s the thing about the location that locals know but tourists might miss – Grayston Drive puts you right in the heart of everything without the chaos of the main Sandton strips. You’re walking distance to Nelson Mandela Square if that’s your thing, but honestly, some of the best restaurants and cafes are just scattered around the neighborhood within a few blocks. Parking was straightforward, which anyone who’s dealt with Sandton traffic will appreciate. The staff genuinely knows the area well – not just the tourist spots, but where to grab good coffee at 7 AM or which routes to avoid during rush hour. Check-in was smooth, though I’d recommend arriving after 2 PM because they seem to still be turning rooms before then. The only minor thing I’d mention is that street-facing rooms can catch some traffic noise in the early morning, but it’s Johannesburg – that’s just part of the city rhythm. What impressed me most was how this place manages to feel both sophisticated and approachable. It’s the kind of spot where business travelers feel right at home, but you’re not walking around in a suit-and-tie atmosphere all the time.

  The Apartment is centrally located, with beautiful Sunset views. It was nicely decorated; fragrance diffusers welcoming; toilet flush stuff very thoughtful; coffee machine with pods thoughtful. Overall, very hospitable. The WhatsApp message sent with all the info and Wifi details was great.
