The linens are organic, the cleaning products don’t smell like a chemical factory, and somehow the whole place just feels… cleaner? If that makes sense. The location on 9th Street puts you right in the heart of Randburg without the tourist crowds – you’re close enough to hop over to Sandton when you need the big city energy, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with constant traffic noise. Parking‘s actually straightforward too, which anyone who’s driven around Joburg will appreciate. I stayed during a busy conference week and still felt like I had my own little sanctuary to come back to each evening. The 9.4 rating makes total sense once you experience it – this isn’t just accommodation, it’s someone’s passion project that happens to be exactly what modern travelers need.

  Felt like I was on an isolated farm, so peaceful. The host is amazing. There were dogs, very friendly but not over bearing and well behaved, made my stay even better cos I love dogs. The rooster wakes you up at 6AM, which I found absolutely hilarious. loved my stay there.

  Initially I wasn't sure of the location as I couldn't see the pool as was mentioned, however the pool was just around a short corner. The space was amazing. So light and airy. The bathroom was beautiful and the kitchen fully functional and so easy to use.
