The Rosebank Mall is literally across the street, so you’ve got everything from restaurants to that Pick n Pay for groceries. But here’s the insider tip: the Sunday market at the mall is actually worth checking out for local crafts and decent food, and you can just stroll over in your pajamas if you want (not that I did that, but… okay, maybe once). The area feels safe to walk around during the day, though like anywhere in Joburg, I’d stick to main streets after dark.

The staff here actually seems to care – check-in was smooth, and when my air conditioning started making weird noises on my second night, maintenance showed up within an hour. Small thing, but it matters when you’re staying somewhere for more than just a night or two. The housekeeping is solid too, though if you’re staying for a week or more, you might want to clarify how often they’ll refresh towels and such. One minor gripe: the Wi-Fi can get a bit sluggish in the evenings when everyone’s streaming, but it’s perfectly fine for work calls and emails during business hours.

Look, this isn’t going to wow you with fancy lobby art or a rooftop pool, but what it does, it does really well. If you’re in Johannesburg for business, dealing with relocation, or just want the flexibility of having your own space without the hassle of finding a short-term rental, this place makes a lot of sense.   Central and close to the Rosebank CBD. Security is very professional and present, and access is tightly controlled. The staff at reception was very welcoming and the cleaning staff were lovely. The room itself had everything you would need for an apartment and was decorated so well.

  The location is excellent, and once the building site across the road is finished, it will be even better. The windows are so good the building noise didn’t bother me at all. The site is clean, new, sleek, and stylish. The apartments are very well equipped and offered excellent comforts for my short stay. The staff were superb, especially the female security guards. I couldn't have felt safer or more comfortable. When I'm back in Joburg, I'm staying here!!
