The parking situation is sorted too, which anyone who’s tried to find a decent spot in this city will appreciate. What really impressed me about this four-star place was how they handled the details – the rooms have this clean, modern aesthetic with warm wood accents that somehow make minimalism feel cozy rather than cold. The beds are seriously comfortable, and they’ve got these floor-to-ceiling windows that flood everything with natural light. I stayed on the sixth floor and could see all the way across the city on clear days.

Honestly, the service here feels more personal than what you’d expect from a chain hotel. The staff actually remembers your name after the first day, and check-in was smooth as anything. The building itself is pretty quiet – I was worried about street noise since Cradock Avenue can get busy, but the soundproofing is solid. There’s this lovely little courtyard area where you can grab coffee in the morning, and the whole vibe is just… relaxed, you know? It’s the kind of place where business travelers don’t feel out of place, but it’s not so corporate that you can’t unwind. The neighborhood has some great restaurants within walking distance too – there’s this Ethiopian place just down the street that locals actually go to, not just tourists. I’d definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for somewhere that feels contemporary without being sterile, and where you can actually get some sleep without breaking the bank on one of those massive luxury hotels in Sandton.
