I’m talking proper attention to detail in the finishes, good lighting (seriously underrated in hotels), and – this might sound weird but hear me out – the shower pressure was absolutely fantastic. After dealing with some pretty disappointing water pressure at fancier places around the city, this was like a small miracle.

The location really works in your favor if you want to explore different parts of the city without being stuck in one touristy bubble. You’ve got easy access to the M1 if you’re driving, and honestly, the Uber rides to places like Melville or even down to the city center weren’t too painful price-wise. Plus, there’s decent coffee within walking distance, which is non-negotiable for me personally. I found myself actually looking forward to those morning walks to grab a proper flat white – something about the neighborhood just felt safe and welcoming, even for someone who doesn’t know Joburg that well.

  The apartment was clean and well-maintained, which is a nice feeling walking in. While overall could be slightly better equipped, it wasn't a major issue. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, it was a good experience and I would consider staying there again. I would recommend this place to others.
