The building has this understated elegance that doesn’t scream “look at me” like some of the flashier places in the area, but there’s something really appealing about that approach. You know what I mean? Sometimes the best spots are the ones that let their quality do the talking.

What struck me right away was how this four-star property manages to feel both polished and genuinely welcoming. The staff actually remember your name after the first day (which is rarer than it should be), and the whole place has this calm, residential vibe that’s perfect when you need a break from Sandton’s usual hustle. I mean, you’re still right in the heart of everything – Nelson Mandela Square is practically around the corner, and you can walk to Sandton City when you need to grab something or meet people for dinner. But somehow, once you’re back at the hotel, all that energy just melts away.

The rooms are what really sold me on this place, actually. They’ve got this modern comfort thing down without going overboard on the minimalist aesthetic that can feel a bit cold sometimes. The beds are properly comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and there’s enough space to actually unpack and settle in for a few days. What I really appreciated were the little details – good water pressure in the shower, blackout curtains that actually work, and outlets placed where you’d logically want to charge your phone. The housekeeping team is thorough without being intrusive, and they genuinely seem to care about getting things right.

Here’s something you might not expect – the breakfast setup is surprisingly good for a hotel this size. It’s not just the usual continental spread; they’ve got some local touches that show they’re paying attention to where they are. And the dining area has these big windows that let in all this natural light, which honestly makes starting your day feel less rushed somehow. Parking is straightforward (thank goodness, because Johannesburg traffic is no joke), and the location means you can easily get to OR Tambo when it’s time to head home, but you’re not stuck hearing planes all night.

I think what sets this place apart is that it feels like they’ve thought about what business travelers and visitors actually need, not just what looks good in photos. The Wi-Fi works everywhere, the common areas are comfortable without being pretentious, and there’s this overall sense that they’re running a proper operation here. It’s the kind of place where you’d be happy to stay whether you’re in town for work, visiting family, or just exploring the area. And honestly, with an 8.2 rating from people who’ve actually stayed here, I’m clearly not the only one who feels this way about it.

  What could be improved: There is no washing maching as it is on the picture, the aprtment is upstairs . the Host expects you to clean for yourself when you leave yet checkout time is 10:00 meaning you must wake up early to clean. The host was rude to my fiance just because he(the host) did not tell us where to leave the key when we leave so we did not know what to do , we asked the security he said we should give it to the complex manager so we did that , he later called and sid we should have called him in avery rude manner he was litterally shouting , i dont beleive that it is our duty to call as we tried texting and he did not respond and had he told us what to do from the beggining we wouldnt have gone and asked security waht to do. oh and the taps in the bathroom do not work properly i opened the tap and water came from the shower which is facing sideways and made the floor wet and there is no soap. we couldnt watch TV because DSTV stream was not working and we are not movies people so we dont use Netfix and Prime TV. I wouldnt recommend anyone to book there
