Couples absolutely love this spot — there’s something about the tree-lined streets and upmarket vibe that just works for romantic getaways.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in had that perfect balance of comfort and style without trying too hard to impress. Everything felt thoughtfully chosen — from the quality linens to the way the morning light filtered through the windows. The en-suite bathroom was spacious (always a win in my book), and there’s something to be said for having proper water pressure and hot water that actually stays hot. Air conditioning worked perfectly, which you’ll definitely appreciate during Joburg’s warmer months.

Breakfast is served in a lovely dining area that feels more like someone’s elegant home than a hotel restaurant. The spread isn’t huge, but everything they do offer is done well — fresh fruit, proper coffee, and they’ll make you eggs exactly how you want them. There’s secure parking on-site, which honestly removes so much stress when you’re navigating Johannesburg with a rental car. The staff genuinely seems to enjoy helping guests figure out the best routes or restaurant recommendations, and their local knowledge actually proved invaluable during my stay.

  I enjoyed the beautiful garden and pool. The guest house is situated in a quiet neighborhood. Bedrooms are spacious and with their fast wifi, makes a great space to get work done.
