The two bedrooms are properly sized – I mean, you can actually unpack your suitcase and walk around the bed, which is rarer than it should be in Johannesburg. The kitchen is one of those situations where you could genuinely cook a meal if you wanted to, with decent counter space and appliances that aren’t just for show. I ended up making breakfast most mornings because there’s something nice about having coffee while looking out at the city waking up. The living area flows well too – you know how some apartments feel chopped up? This doesn’t have that problem.

The location is honestly pretty smart if you’re doing business in Sandton or just want to be in the thick of things without the chaos of the CBD. You’re walking distance to Sandton City if you need to grab something, and getting to OR Tambo isn’t the nightmare it can be from other parts of town. Parking was straightforward, which – let’s be real – matters a lot when you’re dealing with Johannesburg traffic. The building feels secure without being fortress-like, and the check-in process was actually pleasant, handled by people who seemed to know what they were doing. I’ve stayed in places with much higher star ratings that felt more impersonal, so the 9.2 rating makes sense to me. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in the city, but it delivers on the things that actually make your stay comfortable – reliable wifi, good water pressure, air conditioning that works, and enough space to not feel cramped.   I loved everything about the apartment, it has a washing machine, dishwasher etc (everything you need in a home). The location was perfect – we were in walking distance to a shopping center which was amazing. The views were top tier 🙌. We also swam for a bit.

  What could be improved: The overall finish of the Apartment was grubby. Very bad paint work . Very bad lighting in the bathroom, struggled to shave . Mattresses in both bedrooms hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. Couldn't access the wardrobes as they were used as storage for cleaning equipment and there was a big padlock on the one in the master bedroom. We lived out of our suitcases , this was absolutely not fair as we paid for the whole space. Overall our stay at this apartment was absolutely awful and wouldn't recommend to anyone. There's a lot of things that come as a surprise when you get there that they don't mention on the description, this comes across as deception. I've stayed in way better places in Johannesburg , this was awful.

  The apartment has very nice location and more kitchen equipment makes more than home.The bedrooms has blankets heaters that's makes comfortable in the nights during winter.
