These suites actually live up to the premium label, with proper kitchens that you could cook a decent meal in (I tested this theory with some groceries from the Woolworths down the road). The penthouses? Well, let’s just say if you’re looking to impress clients or treat yourself, the views over Sandton’s skyline are pretty spectacular, especially around sunset when all those office towers start lighting up. The living areas flow naturally, and honestly, after staying in cramped hotel rooms across half of South Africa, having separate bedroom and living spaces felt like a luxury I didn’t know I was missing.

What really sold me on this place, though, was how well it works for both business travelers and people like me who just want a proper base to explore from. The location puts you right in the heart of everything – you’re walking distance to Sandton City (probably five minutes if you don’t get distracted by the street vendors), and catching an Uber to anywhere else in the city is ridiculously easy from here. I actually found myself using the suite’s kitchen more than I expected because there’s a Pick n Pay practically around the corner, and after eating restaurant food for weeks, cooking something simple felt amazing. The staff seems to get that people staying here aren’t just passing through for a night – they’re helpful without being intrusive, and check-in was refreshingly straightforward. Sure, parking can get a bit tight during peak business hours (this is Sandton, after all), but they’ve got secure underground spots that gave me peace of mind. The only minor thing I’d mention is that being right in the business district means some early morning construction noise, but honestly, if you’re staying here, you’re probably up early anyway.

  The property was right in the Sandton city area which was convenient. The apartment is very secure which was an added bonus. We also had a van and the property provided us with parking space.
  
  What could be improved: The room we had smelt like cigarettes, especially in the toilet. The room was a bit dated and the bed linen looked old and some what dirty. The bathroom sink was also clogged.
