The property sits in this quiet residential pocket of Randburg that feels worlds away from the hustle you’d expect being so close to Johannesburg.

What really struck me was how they’ve managed to nail that four-star luxury feel without any of the stuffiness. The apartment itself is genuinely tranquil – I mean, the name isn’t just marketing fluff. There’s this lovely garden area where you can actually hear birds in the morning instead of traffic, which is pretty remarkable considering you’re still well-connected to everything. The space has this modern-meets-homey vibe that works really well, and I appreciated the little touches like quality linens and a kitchen that’s actually equipped for more than just making instant coffee. The Wi-Fi is solid too, which matters if you’re trying to get any work done.

The guesthouse setup means you get your privacy but there’s still that sense of someone caring about the place – it’s maintained beautifully and you can tell they pay attention to details. Parking was straightforward (always a relief in this area), and despite being residential, you’re actually pretty well positioned for getting around. I found myself walking to some decent local spots for dinner, and it’s an easy drive to the main Randburg areas when you need them. What I really loved was coming back in the evenings to this peaceful space after dealing with the usual Joburg energy all day. The 9.5 rating makes total sense once you experience it – it’s one of those places that just gets the balance right between comfort, location, and that increasingly rare commodity of actual quiet. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels more like staying at a well-appointed friend’s place than a typical hotel, this hits the mark perfectly.

Johannesburg travel planning should be done early, especially during peak season when the city hosts internationally celebrated events and festivals in Newtown and other iconic cultural districts.

  How beautiful and aesthetically pleasing it was. It was super clean and theres a housekeeper that comes everyday which was really helpful.

  What could be improved: The place was beautiful . However, I was a bit disappointed by the power cut, especially since I couldn’t even make myself a cup of coffee. It would’ve also been great to have bigger bowls available for use. Overall, still a lovely stay we absolutely going coming back soon, but those small touches would’ve made it even better.

  What could be improved: Only thing it didn’t have Aircon and it was very hot in the house. They only had windows in one bedroom and bathrooms with no burglar bars so I was too scared to leave them open while sleeping.

  Everything was as described. The equipment and spaciousness of the accommodation is top-notch. Uber – taxi services work without problems.
  
  What could be improved: The roof needs some minor repairs, as it was leaking a little in one spot when it rained. The door to the upstairs bathroom needed to be fixed because it was coming off the rails. One of the sliding doors to the closet in the upstairs bedroom wouldn't open due to problems with the hinges. The curtains at the downstairs entrance need fixing clips.
  It would be advisable to have laundry facilities at the property, or we did not notice any.
