The owner clearly knows their stuff because they’ve got backup power sorted, which honestly makes this place worth its weight in gold during load shedding season (and if you’ve spent any time in SA, you know that’s pretty much always). I stayed during one of those rolling blackout periods in winter, and while the restaurants across the street were fumbling around with candles, I was up in my room with full power, hot water, and wifi that actually worked.

What really won me over though was the attention to detail that you don’t expect from a smaller accommodation. The rooms have this clean, modern feel without being sterile – sort of like staying at a friend’s place if that friend happened to have really good taste and unlimited cleaning service. It’s the kind of place where you settle in on the first night and think “okay, I can definitely do a few days here” instead of immediately starting to count down until checkout.

  The room is very clean and spacious. Mandy was very friendly and showed us the room. She even restocked our coffee/tea table .
  
  What could be improved: It would be best if they had Wifi. The details Mandy gave us for Wifi, we could not log on. When we tried to logon, It says, the data has been exhausted. Maybe a large bundle to accommodate the whole facility. to anble those who would like to check in with their office.
