This four-star gem absolutely knocked my socks off, and that 9.5 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen – it’s completely earned.

Walking into the lobby, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about this place. The staff doesn’t just go through the motions; they genuinely seem excited to have you there. I mean, check-in was smoother than I’ve experienced at places twice the price. What really got me, though, was how they’ve managed to create this perfect balance between polished and welcoming – you feel like you’re staying somewhere special without all the stuffiness that usually comes with it. The rooms are honestly impressive; mine had this great natural light that made the whole space feel bigger, and the bed situation? Let’s just say I slept better than I have in months. Small detail, but the shower pressure was actually decent (fellow travelers know this matters more than fancy marble).

The location in Block 36 is actually pretty smart when you think about it. You’re not dealing with the chaos of the city center, but you’re not stuck in the middle of nowhere either. I could grab a proper coffee within walking distance, and getting around Johannesburg from here was straightforward – no hour-long commutes to see anything interesting. Parking was easy too, which anyone who’s driven in Joburg will tell you is worth its weight in gold. What really sold me on this place, though, was the attention to those little things that make or break a stay. The Wi-Fi actually worked (shocking, I know), the air conditioning didn’t sound like a jet engine, and housekeeping managed to be thorough without moving all your stuff around. There’s also this relaxed vibe throughout the property – you can tell the staff enjoys working there, which honestly makes such a difference in how your whole stay feels. I’ve stayed at fancier places that felt cold and impersonal, but Sizakele Stays gets that hospitality thing right. If you’re looking for somewhere in Johannesburg that’ll treat you well without breaking the bank or making you feel like you need to dress up for the elevator, this is your spot.

  Definitely a home away from home.The whole apartment is roomy and it's was very clean.The place has everything you need in a home. Great location about 1 minutes drive to the mall and 5 minutes drive to get on the freeway.No hassle to get in and out of the complex the hosts gave us codes and information to use at the gate prior to the check in.

  The location as I have stayed at Greenstone Ridge before is excellent. However, this time around the family really enjoyed Sizakele apartment as it was homey and provided comfort for the family. The apartment is very well equipped with all you need with even games to play with the family.

  I liked everything about the place, the location, space and how clean it was. There's everything available in terms of furniture, appliances and other necessities. The owner is friendly and always available 24/7.
  
  I would suggest that they stop having many entry and exit codes but should just use one for the whole day. Otherwise it was perfect.
