The location on Rivonia Road in Sandton is honestly brilliant. You’re right in the heart of the business district, but it doesn’t feel sterile or corporate. I mean, you can walk to Sandton City Mall in about ten minutes, and Nelson Mandela Square is practically next door. What really sold me though was the free parking — and I’m talking proper, secure parking, not some sketchy side street situation. In Sandton, that’s worth its weight in gold. The proximity to major attractions and dining venues makes this location exceptionally convenient for both leisure and business travelers.

The Studio Experience

The room itself is where this place really shines. It’s essentially a studio apartment, and they’ve thought of everything — there’s a proper kitchenette with decent appliances, not those tiny hotel fridges that barely fit a water bottle. The space feels generous without being wasteful, and the design is clean without being cold. You know what I loved? The big windows that actually open, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many hotels seal you in like a submarine. Every element has been carefully curated for comfort and functionality.

Dining & Amenities

While there isn’t a traditional hotel restaurant, the kitchenette setup actually works better for longer stays. You can grab groceries from Woolworths downstairs in the mall, or there are dozens of great restaurants within walking distance. The Michelangelo’s just up the road does excellent Italian if you want something fancy, or honestly, the food court at Sandton City has some surprisingly good options. The hotel also has a small fitness area and what I’d call a mini-spa setup — nothing elaborate, but perfect for unwinding after a long day of meetings or sightseeing. These amenities complement the overall experience beautifully.

I think what makes this place special is how it strikes that balance between hotel service and apartment freedom. The staff are genuinely helpful without being hovering, and the whole setup just makes sense for both business travelers and couples looking for a sophisticated base in Sandton. The fact that couples rate the location so highly tells you something — it’s romantic enough for a getaway but practical enough for real life. Plus, with that 9.5 rating, you know other guests are having the same experience I did. It’s one of those places where you actually look forward to coming back at the end of the day.   Studio Stay on Sixty6 is a real gem. The space is beautifully laid out clean, modern, and fully equipped. The courtyard is charming, and the decor is tasteful throughout. It truly felt like a home away from home.

There’s a coffee cart in the courtyard while the on-site restaurant is being refurbished, and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. Everything you need is close and convenient.
