The parking situation alone makes it worth considering (and it’s free, which is becoming rare around here). Couples seem to absolutely love this spot, and I get why — there’s something romantic about being tucked away in Randburg while still having easy access to the city center. You know what’s really nice? You can walk around the neighborhood in the evening without constantly looking over your shoulder.

  I had booked for a work trip and it was absolutely immaculate. The room and house I was in was beautiful styled and had a modern but vintage feel to it. I highly recommend for any Instagram enthusiasts and honestly just for anyone who likes the finer things in life. I was met with Claire for check-in and she was so sweet and such a lovely soul. She helped make my first trip to Johannesburg so much sweeter. I especially loved the heater in the room as it was freezing in the morning.

  This was our second visit to The Franklyn Parkview and once again we had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Our previous stay was in January (summer) – this time around we visited during the colder months (May) and the rooms were warm, cosy and perfectly appointed.
