I mean, the kitchens aren’t just for show – they’ve got proper-sized fridges, decent counter space, and all the gear you’d need if you’re staying for more than a couple nights. The living areas have that kind of comfortable, broken-in feel without being shabby, and honestly, after spending weeks in cramped hotel rooms around the city, having space to spread out was such a relief. What really impressed me was the attention to details that matter when you’re away from home – good lighting for reading, plenty of power outlets (thank god), and blackout curtains that actually block out the streetlights. The beds are solid too, none of that rock-hard nonsense you sometimes get in business hotels.

Location-wise, you’re in Rosebank, which is honestly one of the better spots to base yourself if you’re working in Jo’burg or just want to avoid some of the hassle of the city center. It’s quiet enough at night – I never had trouble sleeping – but you’re still close enough to everything that matters. The Gautrain station is maybe ten minutes away if you need to get to the airport or Pretoria, and there’s decent shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Parking was never an issue, which anyone who’s dealt with Johannesburg traffic will tell you is worth its weight in gold. The staff seemed to actually know the area well too – they pointed me toward a great little coffee shop around the corner that I never would have found otherwise, and gave me solid advice about which routes to avoid during rush hour. I stayed for almost two weeks, and by the end, it felt less like a hotel and more like a temporary apartment that just happened to come with housekeeping. That’s exactly what you want from a place like this, really.

  The location was amazing. It didn't take too long for the host to come and give us the key. It definitely felt very safe. That was our main concern. There was a police stand right in front of the apartment and it was right at the entrance of the mall area. The room was comfortable and the cleaning staff was amazing. Very clean and friendly.
  
  What could be improved: Not enough outlets and a bad smell under the bathroom sink. Also, the price for checking in early and late check out was high compared to the rates of the hotel.

  Location is the best in Joburg right in the heart of Rosebank. Safe and secure you step from the front door into the commercial area shops and restaurants 24/7
  
  What could be improved: The only factor that might impact some is the noise from the streets at the weekends as Rosebank is a lively vibey place so people are out and about till lats Friday and Saturday night
