The two-bedroom setup is genuinely spacious – not that cramped “apartment-style” accommodation you sometimes get where they’ve clearly just divided up a regular hotel room. The kitchen actually works, which I appreciated since eating out in Sandton every night can get pretty expensive (and honestly, sometimes you just want to make your own coffee in the morning without waiting for room service). What really got me was the attention to detail in the furnishing – it’s that sweet spot between modern and comfortable, and everything feels like it was chosen by someone who actually lives in spaces like this rather than just ordering from a hotel catalog. The four-star rating feels right – it’s polished without being stuffy, and you get that sense of quality without the pretentiousness that sometimes comes with fancier places.

The complex itself has this interesting energy where you’ll see a mix of business travelers extending their stays and what looked like relocating families getting settled before finding permanent housing. Parking was straightforward, which anyone who’s tried to navigate Sandton during business hours will tell you is worth its weight in gold. The staff seemed to genuinely know the area well – they pointed me toward a great little restaurant just a few blocks down that I never would have found on my own, and they were spot-on about timing the drive to OR Tambo during different parts of the day. I’ll be honest, the pool area gets pretty busy around 6 PM when people are winding down from work, but if you’re more of a morning person, you’ll practically have it to yourself. It’s one of those places where you can tell they’ve thought about what people actually need for longer stays rather than just trying to impress you for one night – and that makes all the difference when you’re trying to maintain some kind of routine while you’re away from home.

  Not a first time guest at The Odyssey luxury apartments (Been a guest at the hotel apartments side multiple times)
  This apartment was totally different from the other site. Very comfortable,more spacious,clean,quiet! The emphasis on spacious & quiet as the other side is literally like a brothel!
  The host was professional & responsive. The check in & check out process very seamless. Everything was in good condition inside the apartment.
