Location-wise, you’re right in the thick of things without the chaos – Fredman Drive keeps you close to the Gautrain station, which I actually used more than I expected for getting around the city. The Sandton City shopping center is basically a short walk away, and if you’re here for business, most of the major office towers are within easy reach. I mean, it’s not the quietest spot in the world – there’s definitely some city hum – but the windows do a decent job of keeping the worst of it out, and honestly, the energy of the area grew on me. Parking was straightforward enough, though I’d recommend asking about the arrangements when you book since it can vary. The whole check-in process was refreshingly drama-free, which after some travel experiences I’ve had, felt like a small miracle.   I loved the modern look and feel! The kitchen is very well equipped and has all the amenities one would need for a short or long stay! The apartment is central, quiet and looks exactly like the photographs.
  
  What could be improved: The a/c heat function was playing up – so it was unpleasantly cold. That said, the host organised a heater to be delivered which made a huge difference. The throws/blankets are looking tad threadbare and could be replaced with newer/thicker ones.
