The kitchens are fully kitted out, which saved me a fortune since I could actually cook instead of eating out every meal (and let’s be honest, the rand goes further when you’re shopping at Pick n Pay rather than hitting restaurants every night). What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays, even though you’re right in the heart of Rosebank. The double-glazed windows actually work – I barely heard the traffic on Bath Avenue, and that’s saying something because it gets pretty busy during rush hour. The four-star rating feels spot-on; it’s not trying to be the Michelangelo or anything fancy, but everything works properly and the staff genuinely seems to care about getting the details right.

Here’s the thing that really sold me on this place – it’s walking distance to basically everything that matters in Rosebank. The Gautrain station is maybe a five-minute stroll, which means you can get to OR Tambo or Sandton without dealing with Johannesburg traffic (trust me on this one). The Rosebank Mall is right there when you need to grab groceries or just want some air conditioning on those scorching summer afternoons. But what I loved most was how easy it made exploring the neighborhood – you’ve got the Sunday market at the Rosebank Rooftop, some decent coffee shops along Cradock Avenue, and you’re close enough to Parktown North that you can walk to some really good restaurants without needing an Uber every time. The security is proper too, which matters in this part of town – there’s controlled access and the building feels safe even late at night. Honestly, if you’re staying in Johannesburg for more than just a couple of nights and want to feel like you’re actually living somewhere rather than just passing through, this place gets it right. The 7.8 rating seems about fair – it’s not perfect, but it’s solidly good at what it does.

  Great staff – very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was well appointed and everything in working order. The bed was amazing. Very comfortable with clean linen replaced on request. The apartments are serviced daily like a hotel which is great.
