The beds are comfortable enough, though I did notice the street-facing rooms pick up a bit of traffic noise in the early morning – nothing major, but worth mentioning if you’re a light sleeper.

There’s a decent shopping center within walking distance, and the staff – who clearly know the area inside and out – pointed me toward this fantastic local braai spot that I never would’ve found otherwise. Parking was never an issue, which, let’s be honest, is half the battle in Johannesburg. The whole setup feels safe and residential, perfect for those longer stays when you want to feel settled rather than just passing through. I actually found myself looking forward to coming back each evening, which doesn’t always happen with hotel stays, you know?   It was clean, the staff was very kind … the location was great for my meeting locations and the mall near by as well.
  
  What could be improved: The shower seems to have problems in the room I was in. From check in day the shower was very lukewarm. I was late for my meeting because the shower was very cold even tho I had run the water for long. The day of checking out I was almost late for my ride back to Botswana because I had to wait again with the shower giving very cold water until one of the staff came and he told me the battery had finished and he has replaced them. Soon after he left I proceeded to take my shower but the water would get extremely hot then get extremely cold mid shower unprovoked and it was annoying since this was happening when I’m already in the shower and I was already behind time for getting to my ride back to Botswana.
