The location is actually pretty smart if you know Sandton at all – Katherine Street puts you close enough to the main business district that you can walk to meetings or the Gautrain station, but you’re tucked away from the worst of the traffic noise. I stayed during a busy week and honestly slept better than I expected. There’s decent parking too, which anyone who’s driven around Sandton will tell you is not something to take for granted. The breakfast setup is solid – nothing fancy, but proper coffee and fresh options that’ll get you going in the morning. Look, it’s not trying to be the Michelangelo or compete with the big luxury chains, but that’s actually what makes it work. Sometimes you just want a clean, comfortable place to stay where people treat you like a human being rather than a credit card number, and Theto’s delivers on that front without breaking the bank.
