I stayed in one of their larger units and honestly, the separate bedroom setup made such a difference after a long flight. The decor walks this nice line between upscale and homey, with these warm earth tones and local artwork that doesn’t feel like generic hotel chain stuff. What really sold me though was stepping out onto the private balcony in the morning – you’re looking out over this surprisingly green landscape that makes you forget you’re basically in an industrial area.

The staff here gets it, you know? They’re not overly formal in that stiff hotel way, but they’re genuinely helpful. When I mentioned I had an early morning flight, the front desk guy actually suggested the best route to avoid the morning traffic around Johannesburg – turns out there’s this back road through the estate that cuts off a good fifteen minutes. The on-site restaurant serves decent food (their breakfast spread is solid, nothing fancy but well-executed), and there’s a small pool area that’s perfect for unwinding if you’ve got time between flights. I actually ended up extending my stay an extra night just because it felt so much more relaxing than jumping straight into the city chaos. The soundproofing is impressive too – despite being so close to the flight path, you barely notice the planes, which honestly shocked me. If you’re looking for a place that gives you that luxury suite experience without the downtown Joburg prices or hassle, this place hits that sweet spot perfectly.

  I loved the quietness and privacy of the place. It's as beautiful as you see in the pictures. The staff was super friendly, sending a message to remind us that breakfast was ready. They didn't rush us when check out time came and we were not ready. It was a lovely stay.
