The two bedrooms work well if you’re traveling with colleagues or family – the setup gives everyone some breathing room, which you definitely need after long days in the concrete jungle that is Sandton City.

What really struck me was how quiet it gets at night, considering you’re smack in the middle of all the business district chaos. The soundproofing is actually decent, though you’ll still catch the occasional late-night traffic hum. The building feels secure too – important when you’re in this part of town, especially if you’re not familiar with Johannesburg. I stayed during a particularly busy conference season, and the staff were pretty accommodating about early check-ins and keeping luggage when meetings ran late. Look, it’s not going to blow you away with luxury touches or Instagram-worthy amenities, but it does exactly what it promises. The wifi works reliably (crucial for business travelers), the air conditioning keeps up with Highveld summers, and you’re close enough to Nelson Mandela Square that you can easily grab dinner without needing an Uber. If you’re looking for something more residential-feeling than your typical business hotel, and you want to be in the thick of Sandton without paying premium rates, this place makes a lot of sense. Just don’t expect concierge service or a fancy lobby – it’s more about practical comfort than five-star frills.
