The bed is comfortable (and I’m picky about mattresses), and there’s decent natural light streaming in during the day. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – Maboneng can get pretty lively, especially on weekends, but this particular spot seems insulated from most of the street noise.

Here’s what sold me on the location though: you’re literally walking distance from some of the coolest spots in the district. The Market on Main is just a few minutes away, and honestly, their Sunday market is worth planning your trip around. Plus, you’ve got easy access to all those galleries and rooftop bars that make Maboneng feel like it’s actually happening. But here’s the thing most people don’t realize – parking can be a bit tricky in this area, especially during events. The studio doesn’t come with dedicated parking, so you’ll want to scope out the street situation or use one of the nearby paid lots. It’s not a dealbreaker, just something to keep in mind if you’re driving. The check-in process was straightforward, and the host was pretty responsive when I had questions about getting around the area. You can tell this isn’t some corporate-run place – there’s a personal touch that makes the whole experience feel more authentic. I’d definitely consider staying here again, especially since the price point feels fair for what you’re getting in this part of town.

  What you see is what you get. It's a cozy home away from home. I would come back anytime. Close to shops and restaurants. The host was so understanding and accommodating. I could cook my meals with ease as the kitchen is fully equipped.
  
  What could be improved: It's located in between nightclubs. So if you are looking for peace and quiet, it's not ideal. But I knew this before I booked, but other than the noise between 12 and 4 in the morning, it's a gem.
