The staff seems to genuinely know their stuff about the area too – they pointed me toward this little coffee spot just down Corlett that I never would’ve found otherwise.

Here’s the thing about this location that makes it work so well: you’re a stone’s throw from Sandton’s business district, but you can also easily get to the more interesting parts of town without dealing with the worst of the traffic. The parking situation is straightforward (thank goodness), and I noticed they’ve got good security without it feeling oppressive. The restaurant on-site is solid – nothing groundbreaking, but the kind of place where you can grab a decent meal after a long day without having to venture out if you don’t feel like it. I actually ended up eating there more than I planned just because the service was consistently good and the food hit the right notes. The pool area is smaller than some places, but it’s well-maintained and gets nice afternoon sun if you’re the type to squeeze in some relaxation time. With that 8.3 rating, you’re looking at the kind of place that handles the basics really well and throws in enough extra touches to make you feel like you made a smart choice rather than just a convenient one.

  The view was amazing – spacious space. The hotel includes a huge play area and garden to walk. Palm trees, grass, etc..
  The breakfast was excellent and the chief asked us if we would like to have fresh prepared omelet, fried eggs or boiled eggs.

  We wanted to extend our stay but the front desk could not do this as we had booked through booking.com . We were told that the only way to extend our stay was to rebook with booking.com. This caused myself much extra work and as the quoted price was now ridiculously inflated , we moved to a nearby 5 star hotel . Very disappointing customer service!
